A teenager has appeared in court charged with murdering 32-year-old Dale Arnold.
19 year-old Josh Johnson of Middlewood in Ushaw Moor, County Durham appeared before Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court this morning, Monday 8th August.
Josh Johnson has been remanded in custody, to appear at Teesside Crown Court on Wednesday 10th August.
Man charged with County Durham murder
A man who was arrested following the death of Dale Arnold in Kelloe on Wednesday August 3 has been charged with his murder.
19-year-old Josh Johnson, from Ushaw Moor has been remanded in custody to appear at Newton Aycliffe magistrates court on Monday morning.
He had been questioned by police since his arrest on Friday lunchtime.

Police make arrest after fatal stabbing in Kelloe
Durham Police have arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of murder following the death of Dale Arnold in Kelloe.
Officers say he was arrested in Ushaw Moor, just over 10 miles from Kelloe, and they are not currently looking for anyone else.
Dale Arnold died after being stabbed in the County Durham village of Kelloe earlier this week.
Police said they are still looking for the weapon involved.

There are reports of police activity in Langley Park.
It's 12 miles and around half an hour away from Kelloe where searches have been on-going for a man after a fatal stabbing in the town.

Dale Arnold, 32, was killed after what police called an altercation on Front Street, in the village of Kelloe, on Wednesday afternoon.
A manhunt is continuing for the person police believe was responsible.
Kelloe stabbing: Victim named as Dale Arnold
Police investigating the death of a County Durham man have identified him as 32-year- old Dale Arnold, of School Avenue, Durham.
Mr Arnold died after being stabbed in Front Street, Kelloe, shortly before 2pm on Wednesday, August 3.
He was taken to James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough, where he died a short time later.
A post mortem on Mr Arnold’s body is due to be carried.
Police launched a manhunt for the man believed to have been involved in a fight with Mr Arnold in Front Street.
The man leading the investigation, Detective Superintendent Paul Goundry, said: “Mr Arnold has tragically lost his life in a County Durham village street in the middle of the afternoon.
“Our enquiries reveal that a man was involved in an altercation with him shortly before 2pm yesterday and we are keen to trace him.”
Inquires are continuing in Kelloe, Coxhoe and surrounding areas.
Det Supt Goundry added: “We do not believe the man we are looking for poses a risk to the wider community but would ask anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact us as a matter of urgency.”
