Middlesbrough promoted to the Premier League

92-year-old Middlesbrough fan Alice Morgan had waited a long time to see her team back in the Premier League.

She has not just waited for the past 7 years - she's been supporting the club through all its ups and downs of the 'Boro since she was 15 years old.

She was at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday afternoon to see Middlesbrough promoted to the top flight after a 1 all draw with Brighton.

This is what it meant to the hundreds of Middlesbrough fans who celebrated at the final whistle as they were promoted to the Premier League.

These fans were watching the match in the pub in the town centre.

Fans invaded the pitch after 8 minutes of added time at the Riverside as a 1 all draw against Brighton secured Middlesbrough a place in the Premier League next season.

Chairman Steve Gibson was in tears as players and fans hugged one another on the pitch.
