Flag flies at half-mast in Sunderland for 7/7 anniversary
A Union Jack flag has been flown at half-mast at the Sunderland Civic Centre to mark the tenth anniversary of the 7/7 terror attacks.
Services have taken place across the country and a minute's silence held in memory of the 52 people killed in the London bombings in 2005.
Durham school pauses to remember 7/7 victims
Pupils at St Godric's RC Primary School in Durham have today, July 7, stopped to remember those who lost their lives in the London terror attacks in 2005.
On 7th July ten years ago, 52 people were killed and hundreds more were injured during the bomb attacks, which targeted people using public transport in London.
The names of all the people who lost their lives in the attack were read out during a memorial in St Paul's Cathedral earlier.

Region to mark tenth anniversary of 7/7 bombings
A minute's silence will be held across the region as part of the events to mark the tenth anniversary of the 7/7 bombings in London.
On 7th July 2005, 52 people were killed and hundreds more were injured during the terror attacks, which targeted people using public transport.
There will be a minute's silence across the North East today, July 7, at 11:30am, including at Newcastle Central Station.
