Eileen Brennan, now Eileen Grinsell, performed on the first ever Tyne Tees show in 1959. At 6pm, she will be on ITV News Tyne Tees talking about her memories of the programme.

The first Tyne Tees programme was broadcast on 15th January 1959. Tyne Tees made hit shows like The Tube and Supergran at the studios in City Road in Newcastle.
