A football fan who was filmed punching a police horse after the Tyne Wear derby has apologised and has said he is sickened by what he did.
Hundreds of fans caused trouble for the police after Sunderland beat Newcastle 3 -0.
However, Barry Rogerson says that he is actually an animal lover and that he has let his family down.
