Seven arrested after man left with serious 'gunshot' injuries in Hartlepool

Seven people have been arrested after a man was left seriously injured from a suspected gunshot wound in Hartlepool.

The incident happened on Thursday 2 January on Garside Drive in Hartlepool.

Five men aged 19, 21, 23, and two aged 32 as well as two women aged 34 and 54 have been arrested and remain in police custody.

The injured man, aged in his 30s, remains in hospital receiving treatment.
