Road closed for 'some time' as emergency services deal with County Durham crash
Emergency services have attended a crash in County Durham and closed a road.
Durham Constabulary said a back road known locally as Bogle Hole Lane between Delves Lane and Iveston is closed and "will remain closed for some time".
The North East Ambulance Service said they dispatched two paramedic crews, a specialist paramedic in a rapid response car, and a clinical leader to the scene.
A spokesman for the service said: "We received a call at 13:10 today for a road traffic collision on a road between Consett and Iveston.
"We dispatched two paramedic crews, a specialist paramedic in a rapid response car and a clinical team leader to the scene."
Drivers are urged to plan ahead and us an alternative route.
Durham Constabulary said further updates will be "provided when possible".
