A pub has been seriously damaged after a fire ripped through the building in the early hours of the morning.
Firefighters were called to the Albion Ale & Gin House, in Jarrow, at about 2:46am on Tuesday 31 October.
The pub was already "significantly ablaze" when the first firefighters arrived on the scene in Walter Street.
