Man charged with murder after the death of woman in Darlington

A man has appeared in court charged with murder, following the death of a woman in Darlington.

Sophie Moss, who was 33, was found in a critical condition at a property in Glaisdale Court on Sunday morning. She was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital. 

31 year old Sam Joseph Pybus, of Water View in Middleton St George, appeared at Newton Aycliffe magistrates court today, and was then remanded in custody.

He is due to appear before Teesside Crown Court on Friday.
