A very warm and humid day, with thundery showers spreading north.

Torrential downpours and hail possible in places, but still plenty of brighter or sunny spells between any thundery showers. Maximum temperature 27 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Cooler and breezier Saturday and Sunday with some rain and showers, occasionally heavy. Monday may be drier but windy with a chance of showers.
