Washington Wetland Centre to reopen to the public
The conservation charity, WWT, has announced it will re-open the Washington Wetland Centre next month.
The site was temporarily closed due to the coronavirus crisis.
Visitors will have to pre-book online for the day they want to visit as part of measures to keep everyone safe from June 10.
Daily numbers will be restricted and social distancing will be observed.
In line with government guidelines, Washington Wetland Centre’s indoors areas and areas where people gather will remain closed, this includes play areas, cafes and shops.
