Darlington school closes after pupil and parents test positive for COVID-19

A primary school in Darlington has closed after a pupil and their parents tested positive for coronavirus.

Skerne Park Academy was open for 40 children. This included the affected family as they come under 'key worker' status.

The school has been closed until further notice to allow for the necessary period of isolation.
