WATCH: Middlesbrough College students sing 'Over the Rainbow' for Teesside's NHS workers
Students from Middlesbrough College have recorded a heartwarming version of “Over the Rainbow” to pay tribute to Teesside's NHS workers.
The group includes singers Annie Lince, 19, and Kelsey Bradley, 18, and bassist Sam Peacock, 18. Middlesbrough College music tutor Danny Allan supports the students on keys.
Their version was made during lockdown. The group had to email their recorded parts to one another in order to build the song.
Annie Lince, from Saltburn, has earned a place at the prestigious Young Americans College of The Performing Arts in Southern California.
Tutor Danny Allan is an accomplished musician who has toured extensively. He recorded the keyboard track for Annie and Kelsey to sing over. Sam then added the bass part.
