Hospice Nurse running a marathon in her front yard for charity
A hospice nurse is running laps around her front garden to raise much needed funds for a palliative care charity.
Catherine Graham from Whitley Bay is a nurse for Marie Curie, which offers care a support for people living with a terminal illness.
She was due to run a marathon this spring for the cause, but it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
After reading that a woman in Italy had completed a marathon on her balcony, Catherine set her self the challenge of covering 26.2 miles in her front yard.
You can support her fundraising efforts on her Just Giving page.
