Total of seven arrests made in connection with Stockton stabbing incident
Police on Teesside have made further arrests following a stabbing on Teesside. Seven people have now been arrested in total in connection with the incident.
Police were called to Waterford Road in Norton last Wednesday. A 26-year-old man was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition. It's thought that he was attacked at a nearby house in Violet Close.
The men aged 28 and 29 and a 33-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender all remain in police custody. Four men aged between 29 and 46 who were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder last week have been released under investigation.
Anyone who may have seen anyone behaving suspiciously on Violet Close or Waterford Road on the evening of Wednesday 23rd October is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 182863.
