Three arrested in Middlesbrough investigation

Three men have been arrested by detectives investigating concerns for a man seen getting into a car in Middlesbrough.

Cleveland Police has said a man was seen getting into a silver Ford Kuga on Bedford Street on Saturday outside O’Connells public house.

The car is believed to have entered Bedford Street from Albert Road and stopped opposite O’Connells. It then drove along the street, turning left onto Linthorpe Road and travelling towards the Crown junction (Linthorpe and Borough Roads.)

Officers have continued to appeal to the public for information. They still want to speak to anyone who may have seen the incident or know the identity of the man involved.

Detectives have urged anyone who saw a Kuga the registration XUI 1442 to speak to them on 101, reference 175906.
