Parts of North Yorkshire hit by flash flooding
Parts of North Yorkshire have been hit by flash flooding.
It happened on Tuesday afternoon, with many routes around Swaledale and Wensleydale left impassable due to the amount of water on the ground.
The Met Office say torrential downpours led to 50mm of rain falling in just one hour across parts of northern England, causing flooding and leading to difficult travelling conditions.
