Boy who fell from rollercoaster at Lightwater Valley near Ripon is discharged from hospital and is 'recovering at home'
The 7-year-old boy who fell from a rollercoaster at Lightwater Valley near Ripon in North Yorkshire has returned home from hospital.
Emergency services were called to the park near Ripon at 11:30 am on Thursday 30 May.
The child was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary by Yorkshire Air Ambulance, in a 'critical' condition.
The Health and Safety Executive, which is investigating the incident, said the 7-year-old is "out of hospital and recovering at home."
Lightwater Valley say the Twister ride remains closed.
The Health and Safety Executive's investigation is ongoing.
