A lasting legacy for young mum stabbed to death on Tyneside as family prepare to mark her 30th birthday
The family of Samantha Magin who was stabbed to death in Wallsend in have set up an anti-knife crime charity as they prepare to mark her 30th birthday.
18-year-old Samantha had been on her first night out since having son Callum when she was stabbed to death by 15-year-old Jordan Jobson near her home in Wallsend.
At the time of the attack in August 2007 her son Callum was just ten weeks old.
Samantha's mum Alison and sister Carly say 'Samantha's Legacy' aims to educate young people about the dangers of knives and support families of murder victims.
