Two charged after death of a man found injured outside a Newcastle pub
Two people have been charged in connection with the death of a man whopassed away the day after he was found injured outside a pub.
46-year-old Anthony Richardson from Newcastle, was discovered with injures outside The Chesterfield pub on Elswick Road in the city at around 6.20pm on Thursday 7th February.
Emergency services were rushed to the scene and Anthony was taken tohospital with life-threatening injuries.
He died the following day.
Thomas Brand, 44, of Westmorland Road, Newcastle, has been charged with manslaughter.
Nathan Aldus, 28, of Shelley Avenue, South Shields, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm.
A 27-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, who were arrested followingAnthony's death, remain under investigation.
