The owner of a deaf dog she brought over to the North East with her from America says she is 'utterly devastated' after he went missing.

Tami Rogers - who works at Newcastle University - recently moved to South Gosforth with her Australian Cattle Dog, Titan who she's had since he was a puppy.

He was born deaf.

It's believed Titan bolted while on a walk last Tuesday and hasn't been since.

There have been several unconfirmed sightings of him near the BT Call Centre in Longbenton and then a call to a nearby dog grooming parlour by someone who asked if they had lost a dog.

Tami says she is desperately worried and appeals for anyone who may have seen him to get in touch.
