North Shields musician Sam Fender nominated for a BRIT "Can't actually believe this"

North Shields musician Sam Fender says he "can't believe" he's been nominated for a BRIT Award.

He's up for the Critics' Choice award at the 2019 ceremony after featuring on Radio 1 and Later... With Jools Holland. Sam's fan base is growing daily and he's just sold out his first headline UK tour.

The 24 year old could follow in the footsteps of Adele, Jessie J, Florence & the Machine, Ellie Goulding and Sam Smith who have all previously taken home the Critics' Choice crown.
