Berwick MP Anne-Marie Trevelyan resigns from Government over Brexit deal

Anne-Marie Trevelyan has resigned as a parliamentary private secretary in the Department for Education, saying she cannot support the Brexit deal after negotiations "built on the UK trying to appease the EU".

The Berwick-Upon-Tweed MP joins Dominic Raab and Esther McVey, who have resigned from their Cabinet posts, Northern Ireland Minister Shailesh Vara and Suella Braverman, who also announced their departures.
