Jermain Defoe gets tattoo in memory of Bradley Lowery
Former Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe has gotten a tattoo in memory of his 'best mate' Bradley Lowery.
In a short video posted on Twitter, Defoe is all smiles as he stands in a tattoo parlour ready to get the work done.
The video then shows Defoe sitting down as the tattoo artist sketches 'Brad' on to his right hand.
Accompanying the video post Defoe wrote "For you, my best mate...@Bradleysfight"
Defoe met Bradley Lowery during his time on Wearside when he was playing for Sunderland.
The pair forged a strong friendship with Defoe attending several events with Bradley in his final few months.
Bradley Lowery died aged six after a short battle with neuroblastoma, a rare form of childhood cancer.
