Man charged after alleged assault outside Tesco in Normanby

Police have charged a 33-year-old man in connection with an alleged assault in Normanby.

An incident occurred near to Tesco Express on Normanby High Street and it was reported to police on Sunday 9th September.

32-year-old Michael Cash, who was the victim of the alleged incident, later died on Wednesday 12th September. His death was not treated as suspicious and is not connected with the alleged incident near to Tesco.

The man has been charged with assault and criminal damage and will appear at Teesside Magistrates Court on Wednesday 10th October.
