Investigations continue after large fire at Mill House pub in Gateshead
Fire crews remain at the scene to investigate a large fire at a public house in Gateshead.
Emergency services were called to the Mill House pub and restaurant near Springwell on September 13.
Huge plumes of smoke could be seen billowing from the premises as firefighters tackled the flames.
Photographs posted by the Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service showed the roof almost-completely destroyed.

The B1288 remains closed near the Mill House roundabout in Springwell.A Council spokesman said: “Diversions signs are in the process of being deployed, with traffic diverted via the A182 – A1231 and vice versa.”
The A1231 Sunderland Highway is congested - especially eastbound - due to the knock-on effects of the road closure.
