'Pop party' promised for outdoor summer shows as Sam Lavery joins all star line-up
County Durham X Factor star Sam Lavery was leaving Norwich and heading to Cardiff when she spoke to Rachel Sweeney about touring and making her mark on the music industry.
The teenage singer is coming to the end of touring the UK with M People vocalist Heather Small. Sam was overwhelmed to say the least when she took on the tour, and now that it's coming to an end, she can't believe the relationship she's developed with the superstar.
It's not over yet, because Sam will be working with Heather again as part of the South Tyneside Festival. She'll perform at Bents Park in South Shields alongside Lemar and Atomic Kitten on 29 July.
Sam Lavery has put The X Factor behind her and plans to push forward in making her mark in the music industry. Sam's new single For The Night follows Walk Away and Beat of You. Sam says she's passionate about this track, she feels it's a great reflection of where she is musically. The songstress can't wait to sing it for the crowd in South Shields.
Sam couldn't reveal more but she did tell us that she plans to announce a fourth single and a new tour very soon.
