Robbers threaten staff at Darlington post office with a 'handgun'
A post office in Darlington has been targeted in a robbery.
Police were called to Blackwell post office in the town at around 5.45am on February 16.
A quantity of cash and cigarettes were taken after a member of staff was threatened with what looked like a handgun before the two male robbers made off.
Staff were not injured but left shaken by the incident.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious is urged to contact Durham Constabulary on 101.
