Family's surprise as baby born with a full tooth
A family from Walker were left amazed after their newest addition was born with a fully formed tooth.
Cruise Horsburgh was born on January 27 at Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary.
When he opened his mouth for his first ever smile his mum, Shannon MacAllister, spotted the tiny tooth.
Cruise's grandmother, Tania Armstrong, 36, said the tooth has been a bit of a talking point amongst the family.
Neonatal teeth are very rare. Medical journals indicate only around one in every 2,000 - 3,000 babies are born with them.
