Large fire at disused Hartlepool nightclub

A large fire has ripped through a disused nightclub in Hartlepool.

Fire crews were called to an empty building known as Wesley nightclub on Victoria Road in Hartlepool on Saturday evening. The Grade 2 listed building has stood empty for a number of years.

Police say it is believed no one is injured at this time. Enquiries into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
