This was the moment a young golf fan got more than he bargained for when he approached Rory McIlroy for a high-five at the British Masters.

6-year-old Henry from Durham had been going to Close House everyday with his dad Chris to watch the drama of the four day British Masters unfold.

And with world class golfers on his doorstep, Henry couldn't let an opportunity to ask for a high-five pass him by.

On the third day of golfing he approached one of his heroes, offering his hand to the golfing star Rory McIlroy.

But McIlroy surprised him, by giving him one of his golf balls as a memento.

And, as you can see, Henry was absolutely delighted.
