Day two British Masters Golf
It was Day 2 at the British Masters Golf at Close House. Once again the Northumberland Course has looked the part and our major winners are a major part of the story, but it looks like there'll be one major casualty.
Job number one for the golfers on Day Two was to make sure they're back for day three. The North East's got two chances of a home win this weekend.
The course got a bit of rain this morning, but it didn't stop the scoring though - and our home boys were on fire.
This is Lee Westwood's home course and his home tournament and you better believe the Host wants to win it.
After an excellent round today - he's in very good shape.
And so isHartlepool's Graeme Storm. He's had a brilliant year - but victory so close to home would be his finest moment.
And don't count out Ryder Cup King Ian Poulter, who pretended he wasn't having fun in the rain this morning, but his scorecard suggested otherwise.
But the man they've all got to catch though is Tyrell Hatton. The Englishman has had two blistering rounds and is 3 clear at the top of the leaderboard.
As for the superstars - the Rory McIlroy charge didn't materialise, but he was under par again and he'll be back tomorrow.
Sergio Garcia probably won't be though. The US Masters winner never quite worked the course out this week - and it looks like he's missed the cut.
