Cleveland Police call for more money from the Government to combat low morale and financial concerns among staff
Cleveland Chief Constable and Police and Crime Commissioner call on the Government for more money to be made available for policing.
It comes as a survey revealed continuing low morale and financial concerns amongst police officers.
The annual pay and morale survey carried out by the Police Federation ofEngland and Wales was completed by 37% of officers at ClevelandPolice.
Of those who responded, 65% said that their morale was low and73.7% highlighted that they felt they were financially worse off than they were five years ago.
