Back by popular demand, the Newcastle Car Show gears up for another year.

More than 10,000 people are expected to head to Newcastle Racecourse from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 12 August.

Boasting a display of more than 300 cars ranging from classics to modified, the event features vehicles from local car clubs as well as individual owners.

The Show will draw to a close with the 'Show and Shine' competitions, where judges award cars in a range of different categories.

Also on the agenda, local Stunt-Woman Kelly Bird will be getting behind the wheel to perform a stunt show display at various intervals throughout the day.

Aside from the cars, families can take advantage of the free funfair and browse local car dealers.
