WATCH: Behind the scenes with the Red Arrows
One of the largest seafront airshows in the UK gets underway this weekend.
Sunderland International Airshow will see spectacular RAF, Navy, Army and civilian displays.
Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to enjoy the three day event.
It's in it's 29th year and officially starts tonight with music, magical flying and a magnificant fireworks display at quarter to ten this evening.
This year there will be extra visable security and armed and unarmed police officers - although Northumbria Police say this is not in response to any specific threat.
When we are watching the displays, few of us realise the work and the skill that goes into developing the show.
Our reporter Julie Harrison has been to find out more.
