Shields Ferry to run a special Tyne trip to wave off the Disney cruise ship.

The Shields Ferry is running a special river trip for people to watch the stunning Disney Magic cruise ship as she leaves the Tyne on Wednesday evening.

The trip will take place this Wednesday, 19 July, and will depart from the South Shields ferry landing at 6pm.

Tickets are on first come first served basis and can be bought on board.

The ferry will follow the Disney Magic cruise ship all the way to the mouth of the Tyne.

Proceeds from the trip will go to Metro Radio Cash for Kids appeal, which raises money for under privileged children in North East England.
