Man attacked outside Hartlepool pizza shop

A Hartlepool man's been left with a broken arm after an unprovoked attack outside a pizza shop.

The 52-year-old was outside Siciliano's on York Road around midnight on Sunday, 25 July, when his 20-year-old daughter confronted a group about their inappropriate comments.

The man was then attacked by a group of males and possibly one female. He was then treated in hospital for a broken arm.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to ring Cleveland Police on 101.
