Woman, 51, 'shaken and frightened' after being robbed in Middlesbrough
Police are releasing CCTV images of two women that they would like to speak to in connection with a robbery at a bus stop on Middlesbrough Road in Southbank.
The incident occurred at 3pm on Friday 16th June when the female victim, 51, was approached by two women who grabbed the victim’s purse from her handbag and ran off towards the underpass which leads to Asda.
One of the women shown in the image is described as being a white, around 5 ft 6” tall, of thin build, in her mid-thirties with dark coloured hair which was in a bun on top of her head and was wearing dark trousers.
The second woman shown in the image is described as being white with mousey brown long hair which was either in a bun or a pony tail and she was of slim build and wearing white coloured trousers.
Following the robbery, the victim was uninjured but has been left shaken and frightened.
