Great Yorkshire Show preparations underway
Final preparations are underway for the one of the region's biggest agricultural events. The Great Yorkshire Show starts in Harrogate on Tuesday 11th of July.
Well over 100,000 people are expected to attend the three day event, which attracts competitors and visitors from across the country.
Among those competing this year is James Cooper from North Yorkshire. He breeds Limousin cattle at his farm near Harrogate and will be showing a heifer and two young bulls at this year's show. He says it takes months to prepare for what for many is the highlight of the agricultural calendar but he believes the effort is worthwhile:
