Funeral of Manchester terror victim Philip Tron takes place

The funeral of a North East man who was killed in the Manchester terror attack will take place today.

Philip Tron, 32, who was a water conservation engineer, went to the arena to pick up his partner's daughter, 19-year-old Courtney Boyle who had been at the Ariana Grande concert.

His family described him as 'funny, thoughtful and loving'.
