Sunderland AFC sell Jordan Pickford for £30m
Sunderland AFC have agreed a £30 million fee with Everton to sell goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
Jordan is from Washington and joined the Academy on a two-year scholarship in summer 2010.
Who is Jordan Pickford?
Joined the Black Cats' academy in 2010 and had spells on loan at Darlington, Alfreton Town, Burton Albion, Carlisle United, Bradford City and Preston.
Made his first-team debut for Sunderland in a 3-1 FA Cup defeat by Arsenal in January 2016.
Made 29 Premier League appearances last season but could not prevent Sunderland being relegated.
Earlier this year, the 23-year-old was nominated for the Professional Footballers Association award alongside Everton's Romelu Lukaku, Manchester City's Leroy Sane, Totenham's Deli Alli and Harry Kare, as well as Burnley's Michael Keane.
The Press Association is reporting Everton's offer for him includes add-ons and, if the fee does rise to £30m, he would become one of the most expensive goalkeepers in history.
