WATCH: Tributes to North East victims of Manchester attack take place
Events have taken place on Friday to remember North East victims who died in the Manchester Arena terror attack.
Balloons were released for teenage couple Chloe Rutherford and Liam Curry, in their home town of South Shields.
A minute's applause was also held for nineteen-year-old Liam ahead of a match at Marsden Cricket Club, where he played.
Floral tributes have been left at the Angel of the North for Philip Tron and his partner's daughter Courtney Boyle, from Gateshead.
Hundreds also gathered on Friday night to release balloons to honour the pair.
Marcin and Angelika Kliss from York also died in Monday night's attack.
