Sam Lavery releases first single after X Factor

Teenage X Factor Favourite Sam Lavery has released her first single after appearing on the ITV talent show.

The County Durham singer has co-written her single 'Walk Away' which releases May 19. It is a summer Pop-Urban song co-written with Charlie Drew and Dave Tidmarsh, released via Active Records.

Sam says she was influenced by Sia and Paloma Faith. She has taken a different music style on from what fans are used to from her.

Moving away from rock and finding the vibe she feels connects with fans, Sam believes this is the track to mark the start of a long career in the music industry.

The teenage vocalist, dubbed The Warrior Princess, has thanked fans for their support and assures us she will be announcing summer shows soon. There's more music on its way too - safe to say, this is just the beginning.
