Dave Jones has been sacked by Hartlepool United, as the League Two club fights relegation.

The former Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton boss won just four games out of 18 since being appointed.

TV presenter Jeff Stelling quit his post as Hartlepool United's honorary president after ranting live on air, calling for the manager to go.
