Tickets go on sale for Sunday for Sammy 2018
Tickets are on sale for Sunday for Sammy, which returns to Tyneside on Sunday 18th February in a new, much bigger venue.
The celebration of North East culture featuring many of the region's most successful performers has moved to the Metro Radio Arena.
The performance used to take place at Newcastle City Hall, but in 2016, two shows sold out in just one day. The Metro Radio Arena has more than double the number of seats available.
Funds raised will go towards supporting the next generation of North Eastern performers with training, expenses and equipment.
Among the celebrities that have taken part in the past are Tim Healy, Denise Welch, Mark Knopfler, Kevin Whately, Ant and Dec and Jill Halfpenny.
Five thousand tickets will be available for both shows. They can be bought via the Metro Radio Arena Box Office or via their website.
