X Factor Sam to give 'performance of her life for grandad'
Teenage X Factor sensation Sam Lavery, from County Durham, says she will give the performance of her life when she sings at the Metro Radio Arena.
The Coxhoe contestant is travelling the UK with The X Factor tour and 'loving every minute' but it's the show at Newcastle's arena that means the most to Sam.
Sam has told ITV News Tyne Tees that she's having the time of her life and that she cannot believe it is really happening to her.
The 17-year-old is regularly tweeting her thanks to friends, family and fans for all of their support. Her biggest supporter, her grandad, is not able to attend the show at the arena in Newcastle because of a fall.
The rest of Sam's family will be there, most of the village too, says her mother!
Sam said during The X Factor TV show that singing at the arena Newcastle is what she's wanted since she was able to sing.
Well Sam, it's happening!
