HRH Princess Anne visits Newcastle City Library
Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal paid a visit to Newcastle City Library where she met volunteers of Citizen's Advice Newcastle.
The bureau recently relocated into the City Library so people could more easily access the service.
Princess Anne, also met the Lord Mayor of Newcastle, Councillor Hazel Stephenson.
The Princess, who is 12th in line to the throne, also visited an exhibition in the library which celebrates the 800th anniversary of the Mayoralty and Freemen of Newcastle.
The Queen’s daughter was presented with a book, The History of Newcastle, written by local author and TV presenter John Grundy.
