A murky start, with the extensive mist, low cloud and hill fog gradually lifting to brighter spells.

Turning cloudy again later, perhaps with some drizzle across the Pennines.

Maximum Temperature 10 °C.

Outlook:

Often dry, with sunny spells but also perhaps some showery rain at times.

It will also be milder than recently, with only a limited risk of frost.
