Watch: 'I, Daniel Blake' scoops BAFTA for Outstanding British Film

Director Ken Loach has thanked the people of Newcastle, after 'I, Daniel Blake' won Outstanding British Film at last night's BAFTAs.

The film - an examination of life in the UK benefits system - beatother titles such as Denial, Notes On Blindness and the JK Rowling-pennedFantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.

Loach's drama was shot at various locations across Tyneside, and starred Geordie actor and comedian Dave Johns.
