Former Newcastle Utd defender named international coach
Former Newcastle United defender Sol Campbell has been named as assistant manager for Trinidad and Tobago's national football team.
Campbell joined Newcastle United in 2010 and made 7 appearances for the club.
The former England international will join newly appointed T&T manager Dennis Lawrence as part of a new look coaching set-up.
Campbell retired from football in May 2012. The 42-year-old was convinced to take the opportunity by former Arsenal team-mate Thierry Henry.
Trinidad and Tobago are currently fifth out of six in their group with two defeats in two games.
The Caribbean nation have reached one World Cup in their history.
